“Chasing Dragonflies” was the theme for the nail designed by Jane Park of Julep nail polishes for designer Katie Gallagher. Three looks were created to compliment the the designer’s line of of cream/biege, light metallics and blacks pieces. Sienna and Juliette and a few other polishes were used to create the looks below.
The Katie Gallagher collection was a little goth and futuristic. The line featured body conscious pieces, plunging necklines, stylish draping, strategic placement of sheer fabric and high cut bathing suits. A number of the ensembles in this collection seem they could have come from the wardrobe of Aeon Flux (Charlize Theron).
The theme of “Chasing Dragonflies” seemed a great balance for the collection. This nail created by Julep Nails easily translates to the everyday woman. Spring 2013 is about neutral nails with pops of metallic and color. Nail art will continue to be big next spring – are you ready for spring nails? I know I am.
