**********

I sometimes have the luxury off taking baths at 9 in the morning and two days last week, I did just that. (I know there is an environmentalist out there clutching her chest and gasping for air but I love baths and won’t apologize.) For about 20 minutes, I was immersed in a warm bath of luscious bubbles created by Calgon’s Bubble Bath and the fresh scent of “Morning Glory” filled my tiny bathroom. I emerged from the tub feeling relaxed but energized.   I applied the nourishing body cream which is light and non-greasy….a great choice for normal skin but for dry skin types, a second application is encouraged.

I don’t know if it was the 20 minute 9 a.m. bath, being surrounded by luscious bubbles, or the refreshing scent of Calgon’s “Morning Glory” but I was definitely “Taken Away!” I spent the better part of my day feeling like I had a “pocket full of sunshine.”   Just think, I had this whole experience for about a buck and 20 minutes of my time.   Calgon can take me on mini mental vacations anytime.   Next up, Hawaii(an) Ginger! What will you try?

More on Calgon: Calgon’s slogan, “Take Me Away!,” is a part of pop culture and has been referenced in movies, television shows and songs for more than 40 years. The company changed its slogan to “Calgon Time” in 1989 but change it back after 6 years when it became apparent that consumers were being taken away from Calgon. The company changed hands for the fourth time in 2008 and in March of 2010 relaunched the brand with thirty new products.   New product offerings such as 2-in-1 Shower Gel and Foaming Bath, Bath Fizzy Sets, Ultra-Nourishing Body Cream joins old favorites such as the classic Bubble Bath to make Calgon one of the most comprehensive lines of basic and specialty bath and body products available today.   Products are moderately priced and are available at Walmart, CVS, Kmart, Rite Aid, Teebop.com and other retailers.
