My spring makeup is usually about ease and convenience. I often don’t take the time to do a full face unless it’s a special occasion, and the fewer products I can use to achieve my desired look, the better. Most of my favorite makeup items from FLOWER’s spring collection fit the bill of being dual purpose, convenient and/or easy to use.
Eyes on the Prize Eye Shadow Chubby
The Shadow Chubby is available in 5 colours that can create day and evening looks. They go on smoothly and are easy to blend. The two darker shades (Keep Your Pansy on and Dark Side of Blue) wear better than the three lighter shades. If you are looking for an intense color payoff this is not the product for you. Also, you must use this product with a good lid primer otherwise you are going very to be disappointed with the results. I also set it with a translucent powder to extend the wear. $7.98
Double Take Eye Marker and Creme Eyeshadow
I am not ashamed to say that I wore a cat eye all winter. For the last month, I’ve been doing my cat-eye with FLOWER’s felt liner. They glide on effortlessly allowing you to create any style or size line. The cream shadow contains sesame seed extract to restore eyelids, so, even when I sheer out the application, I still use it just to get the benefit. This product works best when used with a lid primer. Eye Marker is available in four colors, all with black felt liner. $9.98
Kiss Me Twice Lip and Cheek Chubby
These are my absolute favorite items in the entire line. As the name suggests, the Kiss Me Twice Lip and Cheek Chubby can be used for lips and cheeks. They contain spherical silicone powder and ceramidone to reduce the appearance of fine lines and help to plump up the skin. The Lip and Cheek Chubby glides effortlessly onto lips providing medium coverage that feels like a lip balm. To prevent feather and bleeding, line lips before application. While I like it on lips, I love it on cheeks. I brush my blush brush lightly over the Chubby then apply to cheeks…I get a perfect application every time with this method. Nail’d It Nail Lacquer
I couldn’t finish my favorites without giving a nod to the 24 shades of nail polish in the FLOWER spring collection. It is virtually impossible to select a favorite shade, so, I have selected six (from top left to bottom right): Eye on Tiger Lily, Thistle or That, I Lavendare You, Don’t be a Wallflower, Pansy Shmansy and May Flowers.
