Weekends should be reserved for pampering yourself, so attending CVS Beauty’s “Getting Gorgeous†event a few Saturdays ago seemed to fit the bill perfectly. With so many great brands such as Naturalizer, Coldwater Creek, Zarabees, Downy and Easy Closets featured at this event showcasing their latest products, it was hard to focus my attention! But after politely making my rounds to all the rooms, I made a bee-line to my safe haven – the beauty room! There were many different brands featured in the room, each providing a free service to all attendees. Make-up touch ups were provided by Nuance by Salma Hayek, blow-outs provided by Not Your Mother, fragrance discovery with Essence of Beauty, and my favorite – 5 minute manis with Sally Hansen using their ever popular nail strips. I mingled with Blogher conference attendees and other bloggers, and lavished in all the services at our disposal. Here are some pics from the day:
