TTB Faves : Featuring Laroche-Posay, Paula’s Choice and Vince Camuto

These three products have been in heavy rotation over the last month, so, naturally I had to share.  If you are looking for  lightweight exfoliation that will give you more radiant skin in a week, a dual purpose SPF and the perfect fragrance for spring, keep reading!

Laroche-Posay Daily Anti Aging Primer with SPF 50

Laroche Posay Daily Anti Aging Primer with SPF 50

Sunscreen and coffee are my only daily non-negotiables and I am quite picky about both.  I like my coffee black and my sunscreen to blend into the background causing me no trouble when I apply other products.  The Laroche-Posay Daily Anti Aging Primer with SPF 50 not only protects my skin from UVA and UVB rays, but it also helps to minimize my pores and allows for smooth makeup application. The primer also contains an antioxidant complex to help protect the skin from free radicals. I have oily skin and the micro reflecting and absorbing powders work to absorb excess oil. The true test of the this product will come once the temperatures start to rise. $39.99

Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant

Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2 percent BHA Liquid

No matter how much I preach to others to keep their fingers out of their face, it is one of the hardest things for me to do.  If I had to venture a guess, I would say I pop about 50% of my pimples.  I’m not proud.  Obviously this leads to tiny dark marks and I am constantly trying to keep them at bay.  My Introduction to Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant  has made clearing up these pesky little marks that much easier.  It “rapidly exfoliates both the skin’s surface and inside the pore, reshaping the pore lining, unclogging pores and improving skin cell turnover rate.”  For me, this meant more radiant skin in about a week of twice daily usage. The liquid helps to quickly clear the newest dark spots on my face and I can see a gradual reduction in the darkness of marks I have had for a longer period.  The lotion is super lightweight and feels just like a toner on the face.  In addition to helping to fade dark spots, the BHA liquid’s antibacterial properties helps to reduce blemishes caused by bacteria. Please note that when using this product, an effective sunscreen is even more important.  $26 [P.S.  Paula’s Choice is quickly becoming a skincare favorite for their no-nonsense science based approach to skin care.]

Bella by Vince Camuto

 Bella Vince Camuto

I spent much of winter wrapped in intoxicatingly layered, woody fragrances. Bella by Vince Camuto is exactly the thing I needed to shed those layers and get ready for spring.  Bella is  a blend of nectarine blossoms, jasmine water, Italian bergamot and white amber. The fragrance is  fruity but not sweet…it feels youthful. It wears well for about 3.5 to 4  hours with a mellow dry down.  The bottle is also quite lovely and that paired with the light golden liquid it houses, makes Bella a perfect addition to any vanity. $78
