6 Neutral Sandals Under $150

If one neutral sandal is good, then 6 is better, right? A girl needs options, especially during the summer when having sandals for any and every occasion is a necessity. However, with all the colorful frocks that are worn when it’s warm, deciding on a shoe can be exhausting. “Do I pick up the mint or the kelly green in this dress?” “Should I buy peach sandals to match my peach dress?” “What the heck am I going to wear with this insanely bright tropical dress?” And then you realize that neutral sandals will forever save the sartorial day. Here are 6 great options under $150 to pair with anything in your wardrobe.

6 nude sandals under $200

Wedge Sandal

1. It’s not summer if you are not sporting a wedge. (I just made that up, but it’s my post, so we will go with it.) Maxi dresses past your feet are never a cute look, so I love a great wooden wedge to hoist you up. And the old trick of choosing a neutral toned shoe to help elongate the leg really does work. I am loving these Halogen Wedge Sandal available at Nordstrom for $119.95.

Strappy Sandal

2. How many weddings are you going to this summer? Don’t worry, I’ll wait. Too many to count I bet. But no matter how many you are attending, a nude strappy sandal will be your best friend. I love this one because of the snake skin detail around the ankle, which makes it a bit more exciting than the average. But be warned, if you plan on dancing the night away, make sure you bring a change of shoes. No one wants you bare foot on the dance floor. THE HORROR! Pick up these   Sole Society Ceci Sandals at Nordstrom for $59.95.

Casual Flat Sandal

3. Now that we have covered the more formal occasions for this summer, you are going to need a comfortable flat sandal to run around town in or to take on vacation. Sight seeing is never fun when your feet hurt. I especially love these sandals, because they do not go in between your toes which can easily cause blisters if you are walking far distances. Not cute. It’s a great alternative to wearing sneakers, and an added bonus: it let’s you show off that new pedicure. You can pick up these Dolce Vita Naria Sandal at Nordstrom for $108.95.

Trendy Sandal

4. For those of us who wish to push the trend envelope just a little each season, this take on a gladiator sandal strikes the perfect balance. A bit trendy, but sure to work for many years to come. My favorite part about throwing in a trendy sandal such as this the versatility of wearing it for day or night. A cute short suit would look great with these and then you can keep them on when you change into a strappy sundress for evening. These  Steve Madden Comma Leather Sandals are available at Steve Madden.com for $59.95.

Metallic Sandal

5. In my mind, metallics are a neutral. Gold, silver, copper, all three can be worn with anything. And is it even summer if a gold sandal is not worn? I think not. Tory Burch always does the best metallic sandals and these are no exception. Great for vacation when you want to spice up any outfit, wear them around the pool (you know those pools where you simply strut around in your bathing suit but never swim? Yes, those pools), or throw them on at that wedding you go to when your sky high platforms reach maximum pain capacity. No one will fault you for keeping the party going in some metallic flip flops. You can purchase these Tory Burch Croc Embossed Leather Sandal at Nordstrom for $135.00.

Chunky Heel Sandal

6. What do you get when you mix a sassy strappy heel with a sturdy wedge platform? The perfect chunky heel sandal. These are my personal favorite type of sandal because it gives me the height I want with the comfort my feet need. It’s the best of both worlds! Pair these with an adorable a-line sundress, some slouchy denim cutoffs or your brightly colored maxi dress, they go with almost anything. These   DV by Dolce Vita Sandals are available at Lord & Taylor for $99.00.
