Garnier Nutrioniste Skin Renew anti puff roller has FINALLY made its way to the states
(doing happy dance).
I have been stalking this product for nearly a month. I left no drugstore untouched. From Walgreens to CVS to Target and every apothecary in between, this product was no where to be found in the
So last night I made a quick stop in Kmart at NY Penn Station for a greeting card. Naturally I visited the cosmetics area. Why not? I wasn’t looking for anything in particular (actually I was but it’s an unmentionable)….just wandering the aisles when I darn near tripped over a brand spanking new display case dedicated to the object of my desire. And to make matters better, why were there $2 off coupons??? Oh, come to momma!!!
I restrain temptation and limit myself to the purchase of just one of these little long sought treasures. After all, said product is un-proven on the morning swelling that is my eye area. So as I was saying, I limited myself to one tube BUT I snagged myself a handful of the $2 off coupons for potential future use. Shoot, momma aint raise no fool.
So anyhoo, as you ponder WHY this product has me so dog on fixated, here’s the deal –
My eyes are very puffy in the morning. I mean like Mitch Green puffy. And TTB friends, it’s nothing nice. I look and feel terrible. For a while MAC Fast Response Eye Cream helped but the efficacy was short lived. So my search for a replacement began. I know enough about eye creams to know that an effective de-puffer needs certain ingredients. For starters, caffeine! MAC Fast Response Eye Cream has caffeine but for some reason it just stopped working for me.
So back to Garnier Nutrioniste Skin Renew anti puff roller –
Not only does it contain caffeine it also contains Pro-Vitamin B5, which combined is supposed to be very effective. Well what do I know? Here’s Garnier’s claim:
While you sleep, circulation slows down and causes fluids to collect in your lower eye area. Dark circles and puffiness appear. Skin Renew anti-puff eye roller is right for you if you want to gently stimulate micro-circulation around skin’s delicate eye area to decongest excess fluid for diminished dark circles and puffiness.
How is it different?
- Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew is our 1st anti-puff eye roller that uses a unique combination of skin-nutrients – Ingredient complexes developed exclusively by Garnier to work on skin’s outer layer – and a cooling, roll-on applicator to stimulate micro-circulation.
- It’s ideal for a hygienic application in the sensitive eye area and convenient for use on-the-go.
- Caffeine – Decongests puffiness & diminishes dark circles
- Pro-Vitamin B5 – Refreshes & hydrates the delicate eye area
Results?
- Instantly: Eyes look renewed and refreshed.
- In 1 Week: Under-eye puffiness is reduced and women saw dark circles diminished.
- With Continued Use: The severity of puffiness is further reduced and dark circles stay minimized.
Well let’s see how this goes boys and girls. I’m all over it and will report back after a two week product trial.
Side note –
In a previous post I mentioned that L’Oreal Skin Genesis is my fav new eye serum.
To prevent any confusion, please allow me to explain. L’Oreal Skin Genesis is an amazing hydrating, refining, and repairing product for the eye area. Its ok at de-puffing but that’s not really what it’s built to do. For those of you who don’t use eye creams at all, you are probably gonna freak out over the fact that I wear two. But the sad truth is it’s hard to find one magic product that’s gonna address every concern on your face. For my eye area issues, I have yet to find a single product that adequately addresses everything….hydration, repair, line prevention, sun protection, de-puffing, etc. So I use multiple products. So there, my dirty little secret is out. I use multiple eye creams. One to de-puff and one to hydrate/ repair/protect…and sometimes one just to reflect light. Heavy, I know!
A few TTB readers have asked me about my skin care regime. I’ll post that soon. But in the meantime and in between time, my recent Ecco Bella review gives a good overview of my basics. In addition to this, there are a few additional special treatment things that I do (nothing surgical, thank you very much). I will share my entire regime soon.
Chat soon,
Felicia
I’m sorry to hear about your experience with this product. I personally have not experienced any burning or irritation. I’m actually finding the product to be quite effective. However, I do not like the roller ball. I popped it out and use the product without it. If you’re experiencing irritation, I would probably recommend immediately discontinuing ad requesting a refund. Good luck.

I bought the Garnier Skin Renew to reduce under eye puffiness, followed the directions and after one application I have what appears to a patch of dried, irratated skin under each eye. The patches are not where the puffyness still resides but under the outer canthus of the eyes. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Almost looks like a burn?
