TTBFaves with Maree: Featuring Kiehl’s, Jo Malone and Neal’s Yard Remedies

TTBFaves: Every month, the ThisThatBeauty Girls (Christene,  Maree, and  Felicia) share their favorite products from the previous month. Today I share my top picks from October…

Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream

Why I love It:   Even though my skincare routine is 37,568 steps almost every night, I still gravitate towards products that do it all.   Products that target multiple skin issues, because on those nights when I just fall into bed exhausted, multipurpose items like this  Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream, make my abbreviated regimen extremely effective.   Designed to be an all purpose anti-aging moisturizer, I have been loving the light, almost weightless feeling  of this cream on my skin.

Kiehl's Super Multi corrective cream

Who it Might Work For and Why:   We all have anti-aging concerns, and sometimes pinpointing a product for each ailment (lines, loss of firmness, uneven skin tone) can be overwhelming, so using one that targets everything is effortless.   Great for those with little time each night to get the most out of their products, this powerful cream helps to lift, firm, sculpt and retexturize the skin over time.   And at a price point of $62.00, it is a crime NOT to try this (and then love it like I do).

Bottom line:   As a loyal customer of Kiehl’s for many years, the super multi-corrective cream truly shows the stellar quality and  efficacy  of this line.

Available at Kiehls.com for $62.00

Jo Malone Wild Bluebell CologneJo Malone Wild Bluebell Cologne

Why I love It:   While I know winter is coming and all the fragrances should be getting heavier and deeper, I couldn’t help but fall in love with this light floral fragrance.   I find that when I fall in love with a scent, time of year disappears and I just want to wear it all the time.   Case in point – this mesmerizing mixture of bluebells, lily of the valley and persimmon.

Who it Might Work For and Why:   I would say this fragrance is for those who prefer a floral base, but to be quite honest, I am not a floral note fan.   But surprisingly, this fresh scent won me over with its delicate and sweet mix that wore all day.   With a top note of bluebell, middle note of persimmon and a base note of white musk, this is a sweet floral scent with a surprisingly deep base that makes it perfect for any time of the year.

Bottom line:   Jo Malone fragrances are the epitome of elegant and the notes in each are pure and blend with each other, making it not only pleasant to wear but decadent and luxurious to use.

Available at Bloomingdales.com beginning at $60.00 for 30ml.

Beauty-Sleep-Concentrate

Neal’s Yard Remedies Beauty Sleep Concentrate

Why I love It:   I know you are looking at the name of this product with confusion and disbelief.   A beauty sleep concentrate?   Yes, my glam gals, yes.   And it is rockin’ my world.   As a new user of this organic brand based in the UK, I did a bit of research first on this product and saw that it has achieved cult status with fans of the line and beauty users in general.   With my  curiosity  piqued, I gave it a go and was instantly impressed by how it felt, the scent, the texture, and the way it made my skin feel.

Who it Might Work For and Why:   Formulated with ingredients to help support your skin’s natural night time regeneration, the Beauty Sleep Concentrate helps to fight signs of aging, hydrate and replenish the skin.   And with the blend of aromatherapy essential oils, it is extremely calming to use.   I woke up the next morning and my skin looked absolutely radiant and felt even better.

Bottom line:   This is a great product for those who seek out more natural and organic products to target their anti aging concerns, but can also please those who’s priority is not necessarily naturalness but more efficacy.

Available at Neal’s Yard Remedies website for $53.00.

  • I’m a fan of Kiehl’s but haven’t tried the Super Multi-Corrective Cream…I’m wondering if it’s good for all skin types.

Also a huge fan of all things Jo Malone. Currently rocking the Blackberry & Bay cologne and it’s phenomenal!
