No wonder it’s called La La Land …
When I think back to Team ThisThatBeauty’s time in LA…. la la la la la comes to mind. What a dreamy town! The weather, the food, the people…and the vibe! Yes, the vibe! And at the risk of sounding unoriginal — I simply love La La Land. OMGahh!
In addition to soaking up the sun, Team TTB was in LA for some pretty cool beauty activities…all of which we’ll be sharing right her on the blog over the next few days. But to get you started, here’s a little bit of recap of our insider shenanigans….but more on the blog in the coming days.
GLAM Beauty assembled an elite team of beauty insiders for the judging of the GLAM Beauty 100 awards. For the first time ever, stylists, makeup artists, editors and bloggers were assembled to collectively choose the Glam Top 100 Beauty products—the definitive list of this year’s best new beauty products. Yours truly was invited to take part as a judge.
Christene and I had the pleasure of spending the day at the Kate Somerville Clinic and experiencing the CytoCell Advanced Facial. More on that soon….
While in LA, I could not have made it from event to event without my staple Cover FX products. Look out for my upcoming post which includes my day to night “in a flash” contouring video using my favorite Cover FX products.
Also, while in LA — I hosted the cutest little Cover FX scavenger hunt at Blushington. It was a blast!
A girl loves an amazing makeover! So while in LA, I popped into Hourglass Cosmetics’ gorgeous new flagship store and shot a makeover video — recreating the Oscar De La Renta Spring Summer 2015 runway look. In a word…stunning! Stay tuned for the step-by step video and blog post with complete product rundown.
The entire time I was in LA, I sort of lived in my Le Serpent Le Trench. The shape, the fit, the texture, the fabric — everything about it is totally my style and pitch perfect for travel. But more on Le Trench later….
