TTB Faves with Maree: Featuring Dr. Dennis Gross, Perricone MD and By Terry

It’s summer and hot as the dickens out, so this month it’s all about warm weather favorites. Sunscreen that doesn’t feel too heavy, foundation that won’t smother my skin and a loose powder that will make all my oily skin dreams come true. Here is a look at my favorite products from this past month:

By Terry Hyaluronic Powder

By Terry Hyaluronic Powder

Why I love It: It is by far the most mattifying loose powder I’ve ever tried. It lasts all day, does not oxidize and makes my skin look flawless.

Who it Might Work For and Why:   Absolutely anyone. Since it has hyaluronic acid, it is suitable for dry skin types, but because of it’s intense ability to mattify it is also perfect for oily skin. Apply in the morning by pressing it into the skin with a powder puff and then you are set for the entire day.

Bottom line: This has already made it onto my holy grail product list in just one month. That is really all you need to know.

Available at Space NK for $60.00.

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Sheer Mineral Sun Spray

Dr. Dennis Gross Sheer Mineral Sun Spray

Why I love It: A lightweight sunscreen that applies as a spray, absorbs instantly into the skin and feels like a lightweight body lotion.

Who it Might Work For and Why:   Those looking for a high level SPF sunscreen that can be worn both at the beach and during daily activities.   If you neglect sunscreen because of the uncomfortable texture and way it makes your skin feel, this is a perfect solution.

Bottom line: It blends the hydrating feel of a lotion with the skin protection of a sunscreen.

Available at Sephora for $42.00.

Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation

Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation

Why I love It: Though I love a full face of makeup, it can be difficult to deal with that much makeup when the temperature reaches in the 90’s. I have been wearing Perricone MD’s No Foundation Foundation because it helps to even out my skin tone without adding any extra weight on my face.

Who it Might Work For and Why:   This is perfect for anyone that needs a lightweight summer foundation or hates wearing makeup. It feels like second skin when applied and is virtually undetectable on the skin. The only downside of this foundation is it comes in two shades which can be very limiting, so hopefully they extend it further in the future.

Bottom line: Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation is a lightweight formula that’s gives you the look of a foundation with the benefits of quality skincare.

Available at Sephora for $55.00.

  • Love the sound of the Hyaluronic Powder. I’m guessing a little goes a long way? I think I also need the Sun Spray – some of the other sprays I’ve used just sit on the skin and it’s not long before it feels and looks quite greasy.
