ThisThatBeauty Reviews: Tsubo Galvani Ankle Boot

Let’s talk fall and a few of my favorite things:

  • – Shifting lip colors from punchy corals to rich, robust berries
  • – The layering of tissue weight cashmere tees
  • – Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks…yum!!

AND….

Tsubo Fall Collection for Women

I first learned of Tsubo in 2010. For more background on the brand, refer to this blog post. But in short, Tsubo (founded in 1997) is an innovative footwear brand, whose philosophy is deeply rooted in the belief that style and comfort can play in the same sandbox.

At this very moment, I am all about hefty ankle boots and long lean pants and skirts. The contrast is quite flattering. Enter Tsubo Galvani, a military inspired ankle boot adorned with sleek buckles, dual toned leather, and Tsubo’s signature shock-absorbing ergonomic sole – a must have layer of cushioning that makes trekking New York City bearable.

Though available in traditional black, I’m kind of into Chestnut/Pale Gold. The multi-tone design gives the boot added edge, but still maintains a classic feel. Also, the unique features (hardware, buckles, etc.) of the boot are more visible in the Chestnut/Pale Gold shade.

If you’re concerned that black will give you more options for pairing the boot, I say – fret not. Chestnut/Pale Gold is neutral enough to go with practically every color in your wardrobe. For example, here I am below wearing Chestnut/Pale Gold with my Adriano Goldschmied red wax coat jeans – they’re the perfect balance, don’t you think:

If impeccable style coupled with never-ending comfort is your destination, consider Tsubo…they offer an endless selection of low and mid calf styles: MORE HERE
