They Call Me Mellow Yellow….

When it comes to my weekly manicure (and bi weekly pedicure) I am usually an OPI girl through and through. Not only does OPI have amazing staying power, their colors are very current and on trend. But this week I decided to go Essie. While Essie is great for you ballet slipper type gals, I normally prefer polish with a bit more pizzazz. So Essie never really did it for me….until they launched The Neon Collection.

Ohhhh buddy am I loving these colors. These punchy brights are richly pigmented and just in time for summer. So cut loose and go for it. Ditch your usual subdued shade and turn up the volume.

This week my finger nails are amplified all the way up to Shorty Pants.

Oh yes, that’s the bright yellow color. The folks in the nail salon loved it. Mr ThisThatBeauty is convinced I’m gonna lose my job. Though my nails are bright yellow, they’re also super short and oval shaped. Very conservative. If they were on the talon-y side, I think I’d have a tough time pulling off the look. PS: And on my toes I’m wearing Bermuda Shorts. And there’s NO WAY I’m putting up pics of my big ol size 10 feet . Well…actually for the sake of TTB, I’ll embarrass myself and post my boat feet if you, my TTB readers, set a TTB record leave at least 10 comments on this post. Otherwise there’s NO way I’m showing yall my crusty toes. But trust, the Bermuda Shorts/neon purple is a very lovely color.
