Seasons Change and So Does the Skin

I don’t know about you, but I’m already starting to experience seasonal changes in my skin.

In the summer my skin is usually at its hydrated, dewy best…occasionally crossing the line into the “greasy-zone”…but for the most part, summer is my Skin Season!

As the temperature drops I am already noticing seasonal changes in my skin. The right side of my face is a little outta whack with occasional tiny little bumps that appear mid afternoon but are usually gone by morning. I was headed to a Fashion Week event with a friend last night (hey Chrissy) , and she mentioned she’s experiencing the same thing…seasonal skin changes! And while meeting with Makeup Forever Cosmetics, the lovely makeup artist who did our makeup (hey Lori) also mentioned she’s experiencing the same thing.
Which leads me to wonder –
WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?
How about you, TTB readers? Are you having seasonal skin issues? If so, tell momma all about it?
But most importantly, WHAT IS YOUR PLAN OF ATTACK?
For me, its going to be making sure I am super strict with respect to my skin regime. I must admit, I have been SOOOO busy lately that I’ve slacked a little…which is so out of character for me!
So TTB readers, what are you going to do to fight seasonal skin changes?
I want to hear from you 🙂

  • hey mr metrosexual! I am working on a post dedicated to the fellas! but as a heads-up…scrubs are great for loosening the hair follicle. this helps prevent ingrown hairs and nasty razor bumps. once or twice a week of scrubbing/ exfoliating is plenty. also, “tend skin” is a great post shave product to help prevent razor bumps. its a male product but i know the ladies like to use it for the ol bikini area. i hope this is helpful!

No seasonal issues; but I do have an issue with ingrown hairs on the face. Which leads me to the following – will ThisThatBeauty ever have a special section or post focusing on male beauty? You know, for your metrosexual fans. 🙂
