Recession Friendly Beauty Buy:
For a lot of ladies, concealer is a MUST. We use it to conceal under eye darkness, blemishes, pimples, etc. Personally, I tend to use my foundation as a spot concealer for unsightly blemishes. I’m not much of an under eye concealer girl, but I do like the idea of using concealer as an under eye highlighter. Recently while doing my usual stroll of the cosmetics aisle at Walgreen’s, I stumbled upon Revlon Beyond Natural Concealer & Highlighter. I, of course, could not resist giving this little duo a try (my shade is Medium-Deep).
The first thing that struck my fancy was the creamy consistency of the concealer. To be totally honest, I was not expecting that from a drugstore product. I love that drugstore brands are stepping it up as of late. The concealer is very easy to manipulate. I find that many concealers need to be warmed up between the finger tips and then applied. But Revlon Beyond Natural Concealer & Highlighter went on beautifully and required no pre-application warming. The highlighter side of the duo is a really nice touch. I like that its very soft and not shimmery at all.
Here’s how Revlon describes their product:
Concealer’s soft, creamy formula seamlessly covers under eye circles, dark spots and blemishes, while highlighter contains ultra-refined pearls to add a touch of subtle radiance to areas of the face you would like to accentuate, such as cheekbones, inner corners of eyes, and brows. For flawless and softly radiant skin.
