New Product Line: Daniel Chinchilla Cosmetics

I love new product launches. The makeup junkie in me is always game for something new. I love that regardless of the countless number of beauty brands currently in  existence, folks out there say to themselves “Self: Something’s missing”…and new lines are born.

Daniel Chinchilla is proud to introduce his new line of full range foundations, Daniel Chinchilla Cosmetics. Designed specifically for use by women of all ages and skin tones, the line consists of lightweight foundations, fragrance-free, and hypoallergenic product. The sophisticated line is also non-comedeogenic so it won’t clog pores.

Resident Los Angeles makeup artist Daniel Chinchilla, whose credits include Vogue, The Emmy’s and Ed Hardy, has been fully involved in the unique design and rich development of the new high-end product that launched in early March.  Of his line Daniel says:

“I wanted to create a line that was innovative and representative of all beauty”

Daniel Chinchilla’s line of foundations provide long lasting light to full coverage. The Dual Powder Foundation offers a desirable creamy powder texture. Versatile in its creation, the line also offers a moisture enriched Cream Foundation and Cover-Up Trio for flawless finish. The line also includes Bronzers to help consumers achieve that healthy glow.

Daniel Chinchilla Cosmetics is for exclusive sale at  www.danielchinchilla.com

The products range in price from $20-$26. An “industry Discount” is available to industry professionals.

Well, maybe I'm speaking prematurely. The only way I can really see if it'll work is trying it. And yea, undertones are really important too. I hate wearing foundation and it looking not just right.

And @ Syesha, I'm glad you had a great experience with it. Gives me hope.

Off to see if they have samples… 🙂

Hi ladies – I LOVE LOVE LOVE the activity in the comments section. I LOVE healthy debate here!

@KissyFace @Khalia @ Anon @ Syesha – I hear all of you…But I'm going to agree with Anon and Syesha, the line appears to go pretty dark to me.

KissyFace – have you seen cream foundation shade N11? It seems a shade or two lighter than Alek Wek. I have two girlfriends on the richer end of the complexion spectrum and I'm pretty confident these shades will work for them. Now this is not to say with 100% certainty that N11 will work for you..but I'm just saying 🙂

The Liq Found in shade N11 looks pretty rich too. Not as rich as the cream tho.

But hey, I guess this is why folks constantly create new product lines….its their interpretation of what the world needs now:)

PS: We haven't even talked about undertones…sometimes I find that lines will match my color, but the undertone is off…Hmm, maybe I should consider starting a line:)

Later ladies..and thanks so much for airing your healthy debate HERE

    Love y'all:)

No need to be disappointed, I was unsure at first but I am very dark complected and this foundation matched me perfectly.
    I love it

Mmm, I'm intrigued! They keep coming up with new makeup lines because chicks like myself will keep trying them out! I haven't looked at the site yet, but I'm not liking hwat KissyFace said about the darker skin tone colors! 🙁 Gonna go check it for myself!

hmmmmmm…… Interesting….. I'm always interested in new lines. And after taking a peak at the Web site I'm a tad disappointed in the range of offerings for darker-skinned females like myself.
