While black liner certainly has its place, and dutifully serves its purpose (hey there, classic cat eye), I love shaking things up with alternatives to basic black. My current non-black infatuation is NARS Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Abbey Road — a shade that I would describe as a rich, vivid, slightly metallic teal. Either smudged into the upper lash line, or crisply winged, Abbey Road gives lids life. And I can personally attest to NARS’ long-wear claim. The liner does not transfer, run, or fade through out the day…how much do we love that?
Need help perfecting Abbey Road?:
In the September issue of Allure, Francois Nars used Abbey Road to create a thickly lined cat eye, starting at the tear duct and following the curve of the lash line to enhance the shape.
Are you willing to give teal a try this fall?
