I don’t know about you but I’m always looking for fun yet subtle ways to add some pop to my look. If you also like to add a lil something something to switch up your look without going too drastic or without investing a lot of effort, might I make a suggestion?
I have long been a fan of colored mascara but I most of the time completely forget that it’s an option.
This morning as I was racing out the door I reached for my standard black mascara but the cap was stuck. DRATS! I then reached into my handy dandy mascara holder for a standby. I quickly rummaged through about 6 mascaras and stumbled upon my Vincent Longo Vibrant Eye mascara in Verde (green). Now normally I’m not one to go all matchy-matchy but I was wearing a green dress and decided “oh what the heck, live a littleâ€. So as I applied my green mascara a TTB light bulb when off upstairs….Why not do a TTB post on colored mascara! So viola, here we are!
If you’re looking for a little pizzazz, try breaking away from your usual black or brown and try something unexpected! In the pics below I am wearing Vincent Longo Vibrant Eye mascara in Verde (green) and MAC Raven Blue.

Yves St Laurent Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils in Burgundy. This color is absolutely amazing on dark lashes…depositing a very subtle tint of Burgundy.
