Jill Scott is one of my favorite singers of all time. I don’t think I would have made it through grad school without her musical wisdom. While the curvy, sultry songstress knows how to hold a note, in recent years she has also been commanding attention on the big screen. At the New York premiere of one of her latest films, Get On Up, the James Brown biopic, Jill Scott walked the carpet with a curly bob reminiscent of old hollywood glamour. Celebrity Stylist, Ursula Stephen, styled her hair and breaks it down below.
The Inspiration: “We were going for a very sexy, curly look to complement her sultry, curve-fitting dress. The overall look was old-Hollywood glam and she definitely pulled it off!†– Ursula Stephen, Motions Celebrity Stylist
