It’s the weekend ladies and to get mine started I decided to pop in on MAC’s recently launched Naughty Nauticals collection. I know you’re probably thinking “another launchâ€? Yes, Naughty Nauticals comes on the heels of Dazzle Glass, Dresscamp, Mineralize, Heatherette and Fafi…but honestly, this is what I LOVE about MAC. No grass grows under their feet. They consistently launch trend setting product lines from season to season (and don’t get me started on the upcoming summer launch of Sci Fi and Colour Forms…but that’s the front end of another post). For now, lets all revel in the launch that is Naughty Nauticals.

My take:
MAC had me at the mention of “nauticalsâ€. Translation – BLUE. I am a huge fans of all shades of blue on the eyes…especially for those of us on the brown-er end of the complexion spectrum. Fear not the blue. Embrace it. It’s a wonderful alternative to black. Especially for an evening look. Think out of the black box and try blue for a sultry smoky eye. There’s something about blue that really makes the eyes pop on darker skin tones. See for your self. Below I am wearing Submarine, Meet the Fleet, and Bell Bottom Blue – all from The NN collection.
