When it comes to fall color stories, we tend to see a return to classic rich shades like plum, grey, berry, wine, etc. For Fall 2009, Shu Uemura takes a sledge hammer to the mold:

The Collection
- Primal Color Stick: With a unique diagonally cut tip and a creamy-dries-powdery finish, these stick eye colours enable precision application and maximum definition. Available in two shades – Blazed Gold and Night Maroon.
- Painting Liner: These creamy gel-like eyeliners promise to give eyes a pop of colour. Three new shades include Citrine, a bold yellow tone; Turquoise, a glittery pearl blue/green; and Spinel.
- Primal Mix Eyelashes: These long, natural, dark-coloured lashes are combined with flashes of blue, pink, light green and yellow tones to give peepers a rainbow effect.
- Primal Mix Blush: Three new duo powder blushes to deliver “glowing colour and dimensional definition”. The three shades are Rhythm, a pearly pink and soft beige; Soul, a pearly apricot and brown, and Echo, a dark pearly amber and high-pearl gold.
- Rouge Unlimited: These new lipstick shades inspired by the wild fruits at different stages of ripening provide a natural dewy, sheer finish. It comes in BG942M, a citrusy beige: and WN296, a wine colour.
