Easy Beauty 101: Carefree Makeup For All

The way my life is set up: Complicated makeup need not apply. *insert shoulder shrug emoji*

Amirite? Listen. I simply cannot  spend a whole lot of time or effort “beating” my face. And it’s not for lack of skill. Heck, I own every makeup brush and beauty blender known to man, but truth be told — most days I rely on one or two fingers to get the job done. And I actually look good. No just passable…or “good for a mom”. Nah, I look friggin amazing. And folks on the ‘gram be all like” Oooh, Fe, what’s the lip, what’s that cheek what’s that whole life?” LOL

But seriously. My lifestyle DEMANDS makeup that’s high impact, easy to apply and long lasting. And over the years, I’ve become the Queen of easy beauty. So I thought I’d share my current easy beauty must have’s with you. Let’s go:

If you’re about that multi-tasking life, get your hands on Danessa Myricks’ Luxe Cream Lip Palette. I, no lie, develop immediate stress sweat if I fish around in my purse and can’t find Wander Beauty  DUALIST MATTE AND ILLUMINATING CONCEALER. The cream, full coverage stick covers up pesky hyperpigmentation is a single swipe. The other end of the wand is a lightweight illuminating liquid that I’m sure works amazing….but I’m only here for the concealer stick. It’s the real MVP!

Click, swipe, blend and go with By Terry Light-Expert Click Brush Foundation. I love smart beauty and this foundation filled makeup brush majorly streamlines my morning routine. Not only can I apply in a flash at home, the mess-free two-in-one foundation perfector is also great on the fly when I need to fake flawless skin at a moment’s notice. Every girl needs a foundation this loyal!

As you guys know, my brows are micro-bladed….which lasts 1-2 years. I’m currently in need of a do-over, but recently stumbled upon  Almay Long Lasting Brow Color. The at-home brow tint in a tube takes 30 minutes to set and voila — rich, dark brows that last a couple of days (depending on your skin type and skin care routine).

Simple Micellar Water Boost Sheet Mask  is the easiest, most uncomplicated sheet mask ever — but it delivers like a fancy, priced product.  This is the best drugstore sheet mask I’ve ever used.   It’s not bio cellulose but it sure does feels like it. It’s super cushiony and drippy with product that plumps and rehydrates thirsty skin. I work mask this into my routine twice a week and the results are incredible.
