Easiest Updo Tutorial On The Internet

Every fall, my beauty routine makes the same shift. I go into low maintenance mode on my hair (hello: updo) and high maintenance mode with my skin care. Why? Because it’s so dang cold and I only have but so much time to get myself together in the mornings. I prefer to invest the bulk  of my time layering my serums, creams, and face oils, Ahhh….

BUT I still want hair that’s AH-MAY-ZING! You know?

So here’s how I rock a super chic, and super  sleek updo, that requires like 3 minutes and very little effort. And the end result is nothing short of runway ready. Here’s the easiest updo tutorial on the internet.  Let’s go!

Obviously, hair needs to be clean and moisturized.  Start with  TRESemmé Nourish & Replenish Botanique Shampoo and Conditioner  (available at CVS) and then rough blow dry your hair.

Pull hair into a snug ponytail.

The key to a sleek updo is a great holding product. Secure strays and lock in your style by spraying TRESemmé TRES Two Extra Hold Hair Spray onto your hairbrush. This helps to evenly distribute the holding product and create a slick finish.

Next, brush upwards….paying particular attention to the edges. Make sure everything is super smooth.

Now it’s time to create your bun. Twist and wrap the ponytail until you’ve twisted and wrapped all of the hairs.

Secure strays with hair pins and finish with another spritz of  TRESemmé TRES Two Extra Hold Hair Spray.
