Cosmetic Executive Women 2012 Beauty Awards

Oh, the places you’ll go!

 Last week I had the pleasure of presenting at the Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) 2012 Beauty Awards  Luncheon at the Waldorf Astoria. Super huge honor. . . and a majorly fulfilling career moment! It was the first time CEW had asked Online Influencers/ Bloggers to present awards, so again — it was an honor to be asked to participate. After all, the CEW Beauty Award Show is the Oscar’s of the beauty world – seriously! It’s a culmination of beauty’s best: brand CEO’s, Editors, Marketing teams, Brand PR, R&D teams, everyone! My recap of the day. . . So here’s what I wore:

Alice + Oilvia Spelling Side Peplum dress

(side bar: I found myself OBSESSED with this dress…the color, the shape, the peplum. . . OBSESSED!! It was a size 2 and I am not, but after SPANXing my situation into submission I was good to go. Girls, also — if you find yourself in need of a low back strapless bra, I highly highly recommend the support & lifting assistance of Le Mystere. It’s pricey, but WELL worth it)!

 Honestly, guys — The CEW Beauty Awards Luncheon was one of the most incredible experiences of my beauty career. . . and I’ve been blessed to have many magical moments…so, yeah!

I’ll admit, I was a teeny bit nervous, but my reformed pageant girl training kicked in 😉

Taking part in the 2012 CEW Beauty Awards was a rich experience that I will always treasure. I hope you have enjoyed my share!
