I cant wait to check out (HINT – would love a premiere invite:)) Chris Rock’s highly anticipated documentary, Good Hair. The movie explores the world of black haircare and the concept of “good hair”. The idea to do the film stemmed from a question posed to Chris Rock. His daughter, Lola, came to him in tears asking “Daddy, how come I don’t have good hair?”. Shocked and bewildered by his daughter’s question, Rock set out on a quest into the depths of black hair culture to understand the perception of “good hair”.
This comedic expose of black hair culture includes candid stories and observations from celebs like: Ice-T, Kerry Washington, Nia Long, Raven Symone, Paul Mooney, Maya Angelou, and Reverend Al Sharpton.
Good Hair starts Oct 9 in select cities and Oct 23 nationally
