Check This Out: Three Custom Color Specialists and a GIVE-A-WAY

Have you ever gone to purchase your favorite gloss, lipstick or blush only to be told those two dreaded words, “Sorry. Discontinued”.

Mere words cannot explain the numbing pain that raced up my spine the day my Estee Lauder Pecan blush was discontinued. Oh I raised holy…..well, you get the idea.
Well folks, thanks to Three Custom Color Specialists, you never need to lose your cool again or create a scene at your local cosmetics counter. Three Custom Color Specialists is able to recreate your desired shade using their extensive “Discontinued Shades” database.
I fooled around with the online tool and did a “MAC” “lipstick” search. The database returned over 50 shades of discontinued MAC lipstick. If your shade isn’t in the database, Three Custom Color Specialists can recreate the color from just a smidge of left over product. So if you’re down to your very last and you’re scraping the container, yes, that tiny bit can be used to reproduce your product. And if all else fails, Three Custom Color Specialists will custom blend a product to your specifications.
Pretty cool huh?
While custom blending is a key piece of Three Custom Color Specialists’ business, they also offer private consultations with color experts who can hand blend concealer, foundation, lipstick, blush, etc specifically suited to your skin tone and tailored to your individual lifestyle. This service definitely sets Three Custom Color Specialists apart from other cosmetic lines.
In addition to their custom blending service, Three Custom Color Specialists offer an amazing Ready to Wear line featuring products for lip, eyes, brows, and face.
They also create timely collections that are in step with the runway. One collection that recently caught my fancy is –

My personal favorite is Watercolour for Cheeks in Coral Waterlily.
On my complexion, it’s a beautiful pinkish flush.

Here I am below wearing Coral Waterlily:

I recently had the opportunity to tour the Three Custom Color Specialists lab/color studio and interview the uber-cool Trae Bodge, Creative Director and Co-Founder. Trae has nearly 20 years of experience in the cosmetics industry.
ThisThatBeauty:
Trae, thank you very much for talking with ThisThatBeauty. What is your favorite Three Custom Color Specialists product?

Trae Bodge:
It changes all the time because I love so many of them, but my overall favorite would be “Trae’s Favorite Lip Gloss”, which is a sheer mauvey-brown that looks good on so many skin tones. Due to customer demand, we’ve recently released in in our Award Winning Sheer Lipstick formula as well.

ThisThatBeauty:
What is your most popular ready to wear product?

Trae Bodge:
I’d have to say it’s a tie between our Clarifier Pencils (used in the inner rims of eye to brighten and erase glassiness) and our Creme Concealer-Foundation.

ThisThatBeauty:
How long does it take to reproduce a product?

Trae Bodge:
It takes 10 business days. We do offer a rush service for an additional $15, which guarantees that the product is complete in 3 business days.

ThisThatBeauty:
Trae, thank you so much for talking with us! You’re awesome!
Three Custom Color Specialists definitely fill a void in the beauty industry!
