There’s nothing like a day by the water! If you’re one of the few whose skin is flawless and glowing without makeup, well, good for you. The rest of us feel like we need to do a little something; a touch of concealer here, waterproof mascara there. I’ve pulled together a few of my favorite splash-worthy staples that will have you covered poolside or at the beach.
Perricone MD No Concealer Concealer
This crease-proof concealer with SPF 35 makes quick work of those areas you’re not so excited about, like the redness around your nose that you inherited from your mom to dark circles under your eyes from last night’s party. Being that the No Concealer comes in one very light shade, I was very skeptical, but I assure you that it’s very versatile, except for deep skin tones. It’s also a nice eye makeup primer for those more dramatic makeup moments.

Mary Kay Beauty Blotters Oil-Absorbing Tissues
Admit it, after a couple hours at the beach, you’re glowing like a disco ball. Beauty Blotters to the rescue! And sure, tons of brands have these, but I like the slim pink case and the fact that these work just as well as a full face of powder. Plus, they won’t disrupt your SPF or any makeup you may have going on.

Urban Decay Cannonball Ultra Waterproof Mascara
This lengthening and thickening mascara will stay with you in and out of the water (instead of making you look like you’ve had a good cry).
If you need a little liner, try a swipe of 24/7 Waterline Pencil ($20) on your inner rims. If you use the Black, Brown or Grey, you’ll have beautiful definition without looking like you’re intentionally glamming it up.

CIRCA Color Treatment Tinted Lip Butter
This moisturizing balm will keep your lips kissably soft while providing a hint of pretty tint. Available in six shades (my fave is Sheer Poppy).
$10 at Walgreens
If your lips require more color and definition, these liners will do the trick. Use them around the lip line to define or fill your lips in for some color. They are waterproof so they won’t budge. Available in three neutral shades.

They’re one of my favorites – I carry them with me every day!
