Are your legs ready for warm weather?

With the recent burst of warm weather you may find yourself called upon to reveal your legs much sooner than anticipated. If you’ve been slacking on your gym routine or if your legs lack the golden tanned hue you desire, incorporate a body bronzer to give your gams instant warmth and the illusion of muscle tone. Just this past weekend, the temperature in NJ reached a high of almost 80 degrees. I was dying to wear an above-the-knee dress but needed some, ahem “assistance”. I reached for one of my favorite body bronzers, applied, and in a matter of minutes had legs that appeared smooth, sun-kissed, and toned. I was so pleased with myself that I decided to write a post for YOU and tell you about two of my favorite body bronzers:

St Tropez Instant Glow Body Lotion ($20) – Unleash the bronzed goddess within! This hydrating body lotion gives instant gorgeous glow and warmth to the skin. The creamy lotion can be applied to the entire body and washes off easily with soap and water. While the formula is transfer resistant, it is highly recommended to allow a few minutes between application and getting dressed. This product is a must have for the it-girl on the go who desires the look of sun-kissed skin without the sun. St Tropez also offers a formula specifically for face!

MAC Skinfinish Leg Sheen ($22.50) – This product has been my summer time staple since it first launched a while back. The product dispenses a rich mousse-like bronzer that deposits medium coverage and brilliant sheen. With four shades to choose from you’re certain to find a match!

These are my two favorite bronzers for a fake bake on the legs. Laying out in the sun is a major no no so embrace the beauty of faux. I’d love to hear your thoughts? Do you all use body bronzers? Leave a comment!

  • I’ve got the skinfinish spray and I was over the moon when I learned it was becoming part of the permanent line.
