No, I’m not butchering the lyrics of a much beloved spiritual hymn…I am singing the praises of CoverGirl’s Wetslicks AmazeMint lip gloss.
I love this gloss for a variety of reasons.
Number 1 – I jut love gloss. Duh! I am practically obsessed. And will try any and everything. Having said that, that doesn’t mean I love everything I try. I recently tried a very expensive couture-ish gloss created by a very famous person’s wife. I didn’t really like it so I’ve just avoided reviewing it because as yall I’m all about reviewing products that I love in hopes that you’ll love them too. And I also recognize that I’m only one person and my opinion is just that, MINE. But back to the couture gloss that I thought was just ok, my BFF Monireh absolutely loves it. See, different strokes. BUT DAMN, I digress.
So yea, numero uno, I love gloss.
Number 2. I love a bargain. And at 5.99 each this gloss is a bargain. When I purchased mine at Walgreen’s, they were running a BOGO 50% off. YAHTZEE!
Number 3. I love a catchy gimmick! AmazeMint promises a burst of mint and fresh breath with every application. Oh really? Gotta love that. No harm there!
AND Number 4. Darn it, I just love a great product and Amazemint is a great product.
A girl can never have too many glosses so I bought 4. Below please find pictures of my four colors swatched. I was pleasantly surprised at how pigmented the colors are…especially at $5.99. I also must add that the minty freshness of this gloss is very refreshing and lasts a long time. The tingle feels like a plumping gloss but not as intense.
