Dry hair and scalp are the bain of my existence. To combat this problem I have been heavily committed to cleansing conditioners. However, truth be told I miss the foaming action of a traditional shampoo. There’s something about a foaming shampoo that just makes me happy (I’m simple😝.) While I want foam, I don’t want the squeaky clean feel to my hair after washing with most sulfate laden shampoos. Here are the 3 amazing shampoos that foam up big to get hair clean while leaving it feeling moisturized.
Sasha Pure Healing Shampoo
This shampoo is “an optimal blend of handâ€picked, certified organic, wildâ€crafted ingredients” that cleans and moisturizes hair leaving it feeling soft and manageable. I have tightly coiled hair that can feel as course as steel wool. This shampoo takes out the knots, restores some elasticity and leaves light work for my conditioner. Don’t go overboard when doling out product, a little goes a long way. ($12.99 at Sally Beauty)
Leonor Gryel Shampooing Crème Moelle de Bambou
If your hair is prone to dryness then this is a must try. It’s a luxe blend that contains bamboo marrow, silk proteins, vitamin B and plant extracts that work in harmony to detangle and smooth strands while removing product build-up and other impurities. It’s a bit of a splurge but I think it’s worth it. ($51 at Nordstrom)
SheaMoisture Mongongo & Hemp Seed Oils High Porosity Moisture-Seal Shampoo
In addition to having dry hair, I also have very porous hair. This shampoo, with baobab protein and apple cider vinegar, foams up big and cleanses thoroughly while helping to lay down down my cuticles to prevent tangles and moisture loss. I see great definition in my coily hair after using this shampoo — something not easily achieved. ( $10.99 at Target.com)
This post came at the perfect time, plan on giving the SashaPure products a try. I have extremely dry hair and this weather isn’t helping any.
Thanks!
