Dealing with my natural hair can be quite a chore. Don’t get me wrong, I love my hair because when it’s awesome, it’s really awesome! However, at times it can be very unpredictable. Sometimes a slight change in the weather can render once loved products almost useless, while products that were relegated to the “throw away” shelf suddenly become the star of the show. The unpredictability of my hair is the reason I blow dry/flat iron at least twice per month and wear it mostly in a bun or top knot. While I know the downside of heat styling, especially my very porous 4b and 4c type hair, it is the right choice for me at the moment.
