ThisThatBeauty Reviews: Snowberry Natural Beauty Products

Snowberry is a premium range of antiaging skincare products created in New Zealand. The brand uses over 130 ingredients in its range of products, mostly herbal oils and extracts that are sourced from around the world, along with bioactives. Some of these ingredients include honey, cloudberry, lingonberry, silk, neem oil, white peat extracts, jojoba, cultured pearl and coral.  Products include  cleansers,   toners,  regenerative and renewal serums, day and night creams,  brightening creams, exfoliators,  facial massage oil, eye cream and suncreen.

I started my exploration of Snowberry’s many products by testing the Bright Defence Day Cream Number 1.   According to the manufacturer,   the cream is formulated   for skin from age 18 to 80. It contains several anti-oxidant ingredients that help to brighten, smooth and even out skin tone over time. These include; rosehip, grapeseed, passion flower and macadamia, as well as New Zealand’s own harakeke oil, cultivated in the Snowberry gardens. Bright Defence Day Cream Number 1 is specially made for oily skin, like mine, and contains glycosaminoglycan and hyaluronic acid to boost deep hydration and water retention. The cream also contains skin brightening agents; ODA White, Chromabright and Seppicalm.   I use the day cream almost like a serum, I apply it after I have cleansed and toned my skin, before I add a moisturizing sunscreen. After about two weeks my skin was a bit brighter, not enough where I needed to switch foundations but enough to be noticeable.   The Bright Defence Day Cream is extremely lightweight and melts into the skin.

Another one of   my favorite products from the Snowberry line is   Broad Spectrum SPF.   It goes on easily and doesn’t leave a white or grayish cast on my face.   It also stands up to sweat, which is a big deal if you sweat as much as I do. With active ingredients of Zinc Oxide, the Broad Spectrum SPF contains  nourishing ingredients like aloe vera leaf extract, glycerine and seaweed extract.

Snowberry products are formulated without petrochemicals, artificial coloring, sulfates, silicones, glycols And parabens.  The range of products are dermatologically tested and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
