Purity of Elements – A Luxe Skincare Line Based on Wonders of Copper

I got my hands on the entire Purity of Elements face care line the day it hit retail at  Nordstrom.com.   No matter how many times it happens, I am always excited to be among the first to try new products.   Like a complete and total beauty junkie, I started using two of the products as soon as I got home and I was not at all disappointed…but more on that later.   Purity of Elements celebrates the elemental beauty of the brand’s Santa Fe, New Mexico home and “features the healing and restorative benefits of copper, a powerful natural anti- aging ingredient that helps boost the skin’s production of collagen and elastin to turn back the clock on fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin and loss of firmness.”

Purity of Elements Cleanser Review

The easiest things for me to incorporate into my skin care regimen are cleansers, masks, and exfoliators because results show up quickly.   I started with the Daily Detox Exfoliating Cleanser and the Pore-Minimizing Clay Mask.   The cleanser does a good job of cleaning  and gently exfoliating without making my face feel dry.  In addition to the Copper 5 Complex that is in all Purity of Elements products, the cleanser contains soybean oil and jojoba oil, goji berry and white tea extract to nourish and moisturized the skin.

Purity of Elements Clay Mask Review

Of the two products I tried, the Pore-Minimizing Clay Mask is my favorite.   It is not your grandma’s clay mask — it doesn’t get hard and uncomfortable on the face. While it doesn’t harden like most traditional clay masks, it does an excellent job of drawing out impurities from the skin.   I have oily skin and the mask, through the use of kaolin clay,  reduced the oiliness of my skin in the short term.  The mask promises brightened skin through the use of Vitamin A, orange and lemon extract, however,  this is not immediate.  I think this mask will be great for me in warmer months when my skin is markedly more greasy.

If you’re in the market for a new skin care,   I recommend you check out Purity of Elements.   You can do like I did and start with those products easiest to incorporate into your routine or choose the product(s) that addresses an immediate skin care concern.

The Purity of Elements Skin Care Collection  is available at nordstrom.com  and on the company’s website.
