My Favorite Red Lipsticks for Winter

Few things make a statement louder or more beautifully than dash of red across the lip. Countless leading ladies, fashionistas, and influencers have donned the famous hue for red carpet events, mall trips, and parties alike. Nothing rivals the allure of a red lip, so I always keep a tube on hand for those moments when I want to feel unstoppable. Here are 3 of  My Favorite Red Lipsticks for Winter and beyond.

Red Lipsticks for Winter

MAC Ruby Woo

Every girl needs at least one good MAC lipstick, and “Ruby Woo” is an excellent choice to keep in your makeup arsenal. A popular choice among most, this red provides a matte statement lip that speaks volumes and makes a major impact. $16

Revlon Super Lustrous Creme Lipstick in “Cherry Blossom”

Allow me a moment to emphasize how much I love Revlon lipsticks. THEY. ARE. AMAZING. This brand provides a high-quality formula in their products which many would be surprised to find at their local drugstore. The Super Lustrous Creme Lipstick line is no exception.   Cherry blossom has a creme finish that seals in color and lasts through most of the day, no re-application necessary.   At $8, it’s really hard to beat.

NARS Velvet Matte Pencil in “Cruella”

I’m going to be completely honest — the main reason I  tried this lip color was due to its nostalgic nomenclature, “Cruella”(I mean, who doesn’t love 101 Dalmatians?!).   This lip pencil is definitely one of the best I’ve tried; application is precise and  it wears ridiculously well.  $25

  • Happy New Year!!!!

No woman’s red lip arsenal is complete without Ruby Woo. On my NW43 skin I pair itwith vino lipliner and I feel like a movie star. Unfortunately I can’t wear the other two because I am sensitive to any floral scents on my lipsticks. Good for MAC, bad for me!!!!!’
