Mani of the Week: Martha Hunt Inspired Nail Art

The red carpet is always oozing with nail art inspiration. Naturally, it was one of the reasons why I was SO excited for the Billboard Music Awards (and of course for Taylor’s premiere of the ‘Bad Blood’ music video).  Gorgeous Victoria Secret model, Martha Hunt, stunned in a graphic purple, black and tan dress that I HAD to re-create on my nails. Learn how to get this look in just 5 steps!

Step 1: after applying your base coat, paint 2 coats of Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Bare Dare. Wait for it to completely dry.

Step 2: using your skinny nail art brush dipped in Urban Outfitters, Neon Purple (or a toothpick), draw a squiggly line on your nail.

Step 3: fill in the left side of your nail with your  Urban Outfitters, Neon Purple. Then draw another squiggly line with your Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy in Blackjack. You should leave some space in between the purple and black lines so the nude still shows.

Step 4: fill in the right side of your nail with your  Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy in Blackjack.

Step 5: wait a good 10 minutes before sealing the deal with your top coat!

Now go have fun with those babes!
