Magic Hair Serum???

Not sure yall know this but when it comes to my hair I am rather au naturale post-wash and set. Meaning, once my hair has been dried via rollers under the dryer, I ADD NO PRODUCT to my hair. So that means no hair gloss, no holding spray, no scalp concoction for dandruff. Nada! Why, you ask? Well mainly because I feel my hair doesn’t need it. In a matter of hours and days my hair will naturally produce all the oil and shine it needs, thank you very much. By not adding styling product post-wash I am able to prolong the quality of my wash and set. I think if I put all of that gunk in my hair day 1 at the salon (which is usually a Sunday) by Wednesday my hair would be a greasy, no body having, mess. So it is for this reason that I go au naturale after my wash and set

But folks ….things dramatically changed last night.

Last night Mr. TTB and I decide to have a lil dinner at one of our fav restaurants in Montclair. So we go. Have a lovely meal, great wine, good conversation, the whole she-bang. So were headed home and I run into CVS to pick up nail polish remover (Just couldn’t’t take another day of my chipped OPI Malaga Wine). Anyhoo I run in and on the way out I am greeted by a torrential downpour. By the time I reached the car, which was about 10 skips from the store, I was drenched. My hair was a wreck and its only Tuesday. I have an entire week to get thru. Once home I am frantic trying to find something that will revive my locks. But because I refuse to use post styling products I find myself S.O.L.

That is until I dug deep into my bag of tricks, also known as that huge collection of random samples that I seem to amass like there’s no tomorrow. So deep within the depths of this huge sack I find Phyto Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm. I pour a small puddle in the palm of my hand, wipe away half, very lightly coat my hair, wrap it, say a prayer for it, then call it a night.

Well tis true what the ol folks say about “joy coming in the morning” because my hair was as good as new came sunrise.

This product gets my stamp of approval!
And here’s a poor quality iPhone pic as proof!
