Welcome Back Keyshia Cole

When a Bevy Smith invite hits your inbox, “hunty” (to quote Bev), you best clear your schedule –

Me and Miss Bevy, rooftop!

Such was the case recently. Bevy Smith hosted a rooftop soiree to celebrate the return R&B songbird bird, Keyshia Cole. With the digital release of “Enough Of No Love”, Ms Cole delivers her trademark edge. Keyshia’s new album, “Woman To Woman”, will release in its entirety later this year. Look out for the six-part reality series on the making of “Woman to Woman”, set to air Oct 9 on BET.

Keyshia Cole was such a delight. . .taking the time to graciously greet and thank each editor for attending.

I’ve always loved the rawness of Keyshia’s voice. . . there’s a certain depth there that seems to connect — particularly in a song like “Love”. I mean, I believe every. single. damn. word. That voice…that grit — when she belts out “Ooooh, looooove”. . .and the crackling at “I fooooound”. Phew! Yes, Keyshia. Welcome back, hunty!

From time to time the good folks from various brands, PR companies, and marketing firms graciously provide product to ThisThatBeauty for editorial consideration. Much appreciated! However, ThisThatBeauty readers can take comfort in knowing that gratis product has never nor will it ever guarantee a mention on my little old blog. Simply put, I write about whatever I darn well please. Thank you very much!
