A kiss is a kiss is a kiss – or is it? There are so many factors in a good kiss – chemistry, emotions, mood, setting, prior food choices (eeek!) and of course the LIPS! Soft lips can often be an afterthought of a good kiss, but the folks at NIVEA have made it their job to make sure you are covered, literally, in this area. With a mission to “make kissing better”, NIVEA wants to “prepare your lips to be more kissable”. With the launch of their “Kiss of Style” cap contest, you can not only enjoy the benefits of their great products, you can have a hand in designing it as well. On August 1st, NIVEA will be launch a Facebook exclusive contest where you can log on and design your own Kiss of Moisture lip care cap – choosing from tons of fun colors and chic designs. Submissions will be made through August 22nd at which time NIVEA and celebrity guest judge Charlotte Ronson will decide on 10 finalists to be announced on September 5th. The winner will be determined via Facebook “likes” on September 20th and the design will be produced and put out into stores in early 2013. A good kisser and an artist? Bragging rights for sure!
I had the fun pleasure of designing my own cap during the preview party – which actually was much harder than it sounds, with so many colors and patterns to choose. But I let my inner artist (finger painter) lead the way, and here is the final result:
Charlotte Ronson was also present at the event showcasing her cap design inspired by her Fall 2012 collection. Party goers were also able to spin a huge NIVEA wheel and win one of Charlotte’s designs for themselves! Yours truly did not win (buzz kill), but my friend who spun directly before me (it must have been rigged) ended up landing on the winning slat and won herself the most adorable romper from Charlotte’s fall collection. Check out the romper that my lame spinning skills missed out on – sooo cute!
