Well if its good enough for Madonna…

Face Atelier is the official Makeup Sponsor for Madonna’s Confessions Tour. That speaks volumes. So I’m thinking to myself:
“Self – If Face Atelier is good enough for Madge, its gotta be OK for lil ol me”.
I recently had the opportunity to try Face Atelier and decided to do a FACE OF THE DAY look showcasing the product line.
First and foremost, how fly is Face Atelier’s tag line –

“because looking good is the best revenge”
I could not agree more…Looking good is indeed the best revenge. Loves it!
Face Atelier offers a full line of products for complexion, lips, and eyes. They also offer a full line of makeup brushes and EFFECTS (a sub collection of products formulated to make consumer’s life easier and extend product lifetime). So from soup to nuts, Face Atelier has all aspects of the makeup game covered.
Naturally, most high end lines offer a full range of products for face, lips, and eyes. But Face Atelier offers something very unique that separates their brand from the pack.
At the heart of the Face Atelier line you will find their complexion offerings. They offer ten silicone based shades which provide sheer to medium coverage.
“ten shades???”, you question.
Yes, “ten shades”, I say.
OK boys and girls. I know this is a hard one to swallow, but bear with me…
Remember I had mentioned that Face Atelier offers something that is truly unique? Well here goes….
Face Atelier is the only product line that that allows the consumer to infinitely adjust a foundation with its Zero plus (darkens) and Zero Minus (lightens), which can also be used under foundation to highlight. It is essentially a primer and foundation in one.
This product is truly a makeup “aha moment”. I’ve never heard of anything like it!
The rest of the Face Atelier product line is certainly impressive, but Zero Minus and Zero Plus just blow me away.
So without further ado, BEHOLD -
My FACE OF THE DAY look, featuring Face Atelier.
What do you think, ThisThatBeauty universe?

Sorry, I caught a case of the giggles…

OK, now I’m just showing off my brand new haircut. Y’all like? :-)

And here’s what I’m wearing:

Face Atelier Zero plus as a highlight
Make Up For Ever High Definition Finishing Powder
Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash Mascara

There is a slight white cast but I love the glow. I hate it when that happens.

  2. Alexzandra says:

First, I love that eyeshadow, and second, I’m really loving the notion of zero+ and zero-!

  3. Melissa says:

You look gorgeous and your skin is flawless!! I love Face Atelier to and have been using it for a few years now. It is one of “the” best foundations I have used. Love the zero- and zero+ too because having golden bronze skin I find it hard to match foundations to my skin tone but with FA I can mix and match to get it just right. :)

  4. Felicia says:

@ Anonymous – The white cast might be my lighting. I still struggle to find the perfect light for FOTD pics :-)

  5. Felicia says:

@ Alexzandra – I thought the eye shadow was pretty cute too:-)
and the 0+/0- is God sent!

  6. Felicia says:

    Hey Melissa –
Thanks so much. I am a skincare nut first and foremost so your compliment makes me very happy :-)

I am really enjoying the FA line. 0-/0+ is the bomb!

Looks great!!! I love Face Atelier foundations, and I love that they sell samples!!!! Billy B. uses this on almost everyone’s face that he touches!

  11. Face Mode says:

Yep..been using this for a few years.. on brides..
sometimes it gets to be a little ‘too’ dewy though..so I use for cooler months.

    It has great coverage though..

I have 5 of the foundatons and 0- and 0+, but don’t use the 0- to often if ever.

    the line is great
